THERMOGRAPHY

Thermal drone inspections in Spain for solar plants, roofs and industry

We fly radiometric thermal cameras over photovoltaic plants, flat roofs, façades and plant equipment across Spain, under the sun and wind conditions the survey needs. The images, with matching visual frames and flight data, go to your certified thermographer or engineer for interpretation.

FOR YOUR PROJECT

A service designed around the result.

Solar O&M teams, EPC contractors, facility managers, building surveyors and insurers who need thermal evidence from large or elevated assets without scaffolding or shutdowns.

What it can include

  • Radiometric thermal and visual capture
  • Flights timed for irradiance and wind
  • Module-level coverage of PV arrays
  • Roof membrane and insulation overview
  • Frames tagged by location and time

WHY DRONEX

What changes when the flight is planned properly.

01

Timing decides the data

Solar thermography needs strong irradiance and low wind; roof surveys need the right temperature difference. We schedule around that, not around the calendar.

02

Fast on large arrays

A ground-mounted plant that takes days to walk is covered from above in hours, with every string photographed in a consistent pattern.

03

Analysis by the qualified expert

We capture and organise; the diagnosis, the fault classification and any report are done by the thermographer or engineer defined in the scope.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before you request a quote.

Tell us about your project
Do you diagnose the faults found in the thermal images?

No. We deliver radiometric files and visual references organised by area. Identification of hot spots, defective modules or moisture is carried out by the qualified thermographer or engineer, either yours or one agreed in the scope.

When is the best time for a solar thermal flight in Spain?

Clear days with high irradiance, typically late morning to mid-afternoon, and light wind. In summer this is easy to find; in winter we watch the forecast and move the flight if conditions drop.

Can thermal drones detect roof leaks or missing insulation?

They can show temperature patterns that suggest wet insulation or heat loss, best captured after sunset when the roof cools. Whether a pattern is a defect is for the surveyor to confirm, often with a physical check.
